Come Down With The Flu (Intermediate – B1)

Come Down With The Flu - Transcript

Kim: Hi Jordan! I’m so glad you’ll be coming to our Christmas party. It’s going to be a blast!
Jordan: Hi Kim. About that. Actually, I have some bad news. My wife is sick, and we won’t be able to make it to the party.
Kim: That’s terrible! Is she okay?
Jordan: She came down with the flu over the weekend, and she was still feeling bad this morning.
Kim: I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope she gets well soon.
Jordan: Thanks. We were really looking forward to the party, but we don’t want to get anyone else sick.
Kim: I understand completely. Health comes first. We’ll miss you guys at the party, but the most important thing is for your wife to get better.
Jordan: Hopefully we can catch up soon. When everyone’s feeling better.
Kim: Definitely. Take care of yourselves.
